The Helena Area HAZUS Analysis Project was a cooperative effort to advance natural hazard mitigation, and to promote the integration of HAZUS in community decision-making. Funding for the project was granted in 2001, initially for a six-month period by the City of Helena, Lewis & Clark County, and the State of Montana. The project was completed in August 15, 2002. To
