HAZUS.org Technical BLOG has been developed to enhance information
sharing and collaboration among HAZUS users. HAZUS.org will
use the HAZUS.org Technical BLOG to keep HAZUS users aware of
updates and changes to HAZUS-MH. HAZUS.org encourages the
HAZUS user community to comment and post information about HAZUS-MH
bugs they have discovered and tips and tricks on how to best use
HAZUS-MH.
LINKS - At the
top of the right hand column of the HAZUS.org home page BLOG you
will see the usual "LINKS". The links section on
this BLOG are limited. To see more links visit the
HAZUS.org home page.
PREVIOUS POSTS
shows the titles of the most recent posts, if you click on a title
you will see that post.
ARCHIVES are
automatically organized on a monthly basis.
SUBSCRIBE - A
powerful feature of the HAZUS.org Technical BLOG is the ability to subscribe
to the system and get automatic notification of postings. To
subscribe, click on the "Subscribe to Posts" hot link on the bottom
of the right hand column.
POSTING - BLOG
postings are shown in the left column. The date of the posting
is shown at the top, followed by the post title. Near the bottom of
the post is the "Labels" field. The "Labels" field shows a key
word, phrase or topic that summarizes the post. To see other
posts on the same topic click on the label. The "name" of the
poster and time of the post are shown at the bottom of the post.
COMMENTS - To
view posted comments or to post a comment click on the "comments"
hot link at the bottom of a post. Everybody is encouraged to
post a comment. Anybody can comment. You will need a
Google account user name and password or an
OpenID,
Live Journal,
WordPress,
TypePad
or AIM user name to
post a comment using the on-line system. If you would rather
not use any of these systems to post or comment, send us an email
and we will get your info out there for the rest of the HAZUS user
community.
