 The Nevada Bureau of Mines and Geology (NBMG), University of Nevada, Reno, was presented with the "HAZUS-MH Best Practices: Earthquake Analysis" award at the 2007 HAZUS User Group Conference in San Diego. NBMG has been using HAZUS software for developing earthquake scenarios and loss-estimation modeling since its first release in the mid 1990's.
