HAZUS.org is working to establish a web-based community for HAZUS users. The HAZUS.org BLOG system is being developed to enhance information sharing and collaboration among HAZUS users. The SoCalHUG BLOG is one component of this initiative. LINKS - In the right hand column of the SoCalHUG home page BLOG you will see the usual "LINKS". PREVIOUS shows the titles of the most recent posts, if you click on a title you will see that post. ARCHIVES are automatically organized on a monthly basis. SUBSCRIBE - A powerful feature of the HAZUS.org BLOG is the ability to subscribe to the system and get automatic notification of postings. To subscribe, click on the "Subscribe to Posts" hot link on the bottom of the right hand column. POSTING - BLOG postings are shown in the left column. The date of the posting is shown at the top, followed by the post title. Near the bottom of the post is the "Labels" field. The "Labels" field shows a key word, phrase or topic that summarizes the post. To see other posts on the same topic click on the label. The "name" of the poster and time of the post are shown at the bottom of the post. COMMENTS - To view posted comments or to post a comment click on the "comments" hot link at the bottom of a post. Everybody is encouraged to post a comment. Anybody can comment. You will need a Google account user name and password or an OpenID, Live Journal, WordPress, TypePad or AIM user name to post a comment using the on-line system. If you would rather not use any of these systems to comment, send us an email with your comment and we will post it for you, click here. Comments are moderated.
